Job Description

Client , is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Relays, Solid State Relays, Power Controllers, RF COAX Switches and RF switching systems for the Aerospace & Defense, Test & Measurement, Industrial, Communication and Medical markets. The primary manufacturing facilities are in the United States, Mexico, Taiwan and France. We are a vertically oriented manufacturing and design company with major operations in Southern California.
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern USA territory. Ideally, the individual would be located on the East Coast and work out of one of the clients locations.
Responsibilities:
• Create and achieve a sales budget, including bookings, billings and POS
• Manage a group of manufacturer’s representatives and regional distribution networks; participate in quarterly reviews.
• Create an OEM business development target customer list.
• Directs field applications team to achieve design wins…
• Regularly meet with current and potential customers
• Submit monthly Sales Activity Reports to management.
• Update designs wins within a sales funnel using CRM tools.
• Participate in new product definition and report market trends.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years experience in technical field working with manufacturer’s reps and distribution channels in Aerospace & Defense markets.
• Experience with electronic components required (manufacturing)
• Preparation of quarterly presentations; covering short/long-term goals and performance in region
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Travel required = 50%
