Description
Summary
Client is , the leading producer of high reliability crystal oscillators and frequency control devices for demanding applications, is seeking a talented and driven RF test engineer to join our engineering department. In this role you will work hands on to develop new test systems and update existing setups to meet the needs of client  evolving product line with a focus on reliability and automation. Additionally, we believe in an environment in which our engineers are encouraged to engage in projects they deem important to the Company and to themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop and construct test solutions for  clients products
• Write software to interact with devices-under-test, test equipment, and documentation systems with a focus on automation and reliability.
• Write new, update existing, and train employees on Clients Standard Operating Procedures and Forms related to test methodologies
• Work closely with production personnel to support day-to-day operational needs
• Perform root cause analysis of test failures and document/implement corrective actions
• Mentor operators and technicians to ensure proper performance of test methodologies
• Assist in Company-wide Audits by External Certifying Agencies and Customers, such as Our Annual AS9100 Audit
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree STEM field or 5+ years commensurate experience
• 3+ years of professional experience designing test systems for RF electronics
• 3+ years of programming experience with test instrumentation (e.g. GPIB, SCPI)
• Proficient utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio
• Pleasant attitude in dealing with customers and fellow team members.
• Ability to work both independently and in cross functional teams with proven history of meeting deadlines.
• Strong technical writing ability
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15

Preferred Skills and Experience
• Programming in Agilent VEE PRO, Python, C, C++, and MATLAB

• Experience designing test systems for oscillators or timing devices
• Experience with thermal and mechanical testing requirements for space applications
• Familiarity with test methods in MIL-STD-883 or MIL-STD-202
• Passion for the aerospace industry
