A Manufacturing Production Engineer works with Design Engineering, Quality and Production in order to develop and improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production. As a crucial part of our manufacturing company, your role will involve developing and implementing production processes, troubleshooting production issues and overseeing the maintenance of production equipment. You will also analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and ensure that production deadlines are met. Overall, you will play a critical role in enhancing our firm's production efficiency, quality and safety.

Objectives of this role
• Optimizing the manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, reduce costs and enhance product quality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and new production technologies.
• Bridging the gap between design plan and manufacturing processes.
• Monitoring production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Providing technical support to production teams and addressing technical issues.
Tasks
• Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Design, implement and oversee improvements to the production workflows. This includes by now limited to tools, equipment and fixturing that will improve and speed up the manufacturing process.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production-related problems and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for production processes, standard operating procedures and quality standards.
