Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all aspects of the business unit, including strategy, operations, program management, business development, and financial performance.
• Own full P&L responsibility and deliver revenue, margin, and growth targets.
• Develop, present, and execute the long-term strategy in alignment with company objectives.
• Foster strong relationships with DoD and intelligence customers; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and contract performance.
• Cultivate long-term customer partnerships and convert technical capabilities into sustained revenue streams.
• Oversee program and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery of products and solutions.
• Drive new business capture and proposal development in collaboration with Sales, BD, and Engineering.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team; create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and federal regulations (e.g., ITAR, FAR/DFARS).
• Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to executive leadership.
• Strong customer orientation with ability to serve as the executive face of the business unit to key accounts
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or related industry, with 5+ years in a P&L leadership role.
• Track record of cultivating long-term customer partnerships and converting technical capabilities into sustained revenue streams.
• Proven track record of leading complex, high-value technical sales/programmatic growth with defense primes, aerospace OEMs, or advanced communications customers.
• Strong understanding of RF/microwave technologies, SIGINT/COMINT systems, or adjacent mission domains.
• Experience working with DoD, intelligence community, or other government customers.
• Strong financial acumen and operational execution skills.
• Active or previously held U.S. Security Clearance preferred (Secret or higher).
