Position Function:

Client  is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Radio Frequency (RF) Principal Engineer to join our team to support design and development of complex radar, electronic warfare (EW) and airborne RF microwave assemblies and subsystems.Client  is experiencing substantial growth at our facility in Texas and we are seeking skilled talent to join our Engineering and Manufacturing team. The traditional way of designing and manufacturing complex RF products is not cost effective and time consuming with several design iterations required to meet our customers product specifications and performance. Our  RF building blocks and integration schemes are disruptive and game changing when it comes to designing and developing complex RF microwave products.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Design, develop, assemble, integrate, and test complex RF assemblies and subsystems. Perform component analysis, trade studies, simulations, modeling, to ensure compliance with our customers product specifications. Collaboration with supporting companies  achieved. Support technical and cost proposal preparation for future programs. Collaborate across the technical and functional organizations within parent org 

Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the defense and aerospace industry with expertise in the designing, developing, assembly, test, and integration of complex RF/Microwave assemblies for radar, shipborne and airborne EW applications.
Perform trade studies, feasibility analysis, design to meet environmental, mechanical, and electric specifications.
Experience with low and high-power amplifier combining architectures, conversion, Tx Rx,
Experience cascade analysis, modeling, simulation with ADS and Altium (or similar) Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective working relationships in team environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills, able to effectively communicate to senior leadership, customers, and academic institutions.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation, sufficient RF hardware design experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Recognized as the prime technical contact (e.g., SME) on projects and has demonstrated direct customer engagement experience, especially in roles as a technical advisor to management and customers.
Familiarity with open architectures (e.g., Modular Open System Architecture)
