Business Development ( Remote)

Title BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ( Rotary Joints and Slip rings ) 

Location Remote 




  • Identify and develop both new and follow-on business opportunities to generate profitable growth opportunities in target markets
  • Manage manufacturer’s representative network
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to build quotes and discover new opportunities
  • Understand competitor’s activities on specific programs or market segments of interest to the company and report information pertinent to the company’s strategy
  • Develop and implement marketing plans
  • Contribute to planning process for determination of suitable Internal Research and Development (IR&D) projects which enhance company’s competitive position
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and customer meetings, as needed
  • Work with Engineering to prepare presentations and white papers to support the company’s marketing and sales collateral needs



  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Marketing, plus ten years’ experience in selling differentiated technical products
  • US Citizenship
  • Winning track record
  • Excellent closure and negotiating skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal & written communication
  • Capable of functioning autonomously
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)


  • Has contacts that will assist the company to further its business relationships in the Space Mechanisms and Radar markets
  • Slip ring market sales experience

Required Travel - approximately 30%
