DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; the sale and support of avionics products to the Defense and Commercial markets requiring comprehensive technical product and platform/market knowledge. Requires the ability to make judgments involving complex avionics systems to capture new and ongoing customers. Responsible for the overall Growth, Profit and Loss for assigned product lines, including developing and meeting pricing strategies and targets, and lead all contractual and business negotiations in order to support the business.
 Possess a highly developed entrepreneurial mindset and ability to own and manage P&L responsibilities to drive the health and profitability of assigned product lines and programs
 Directly interface with customers, including product presentations, email and phone correspondence, and other means of communication
 Identify, solicit, and cultivate sales and upsell opportunities with customers, be accountable for achieving established sales revenue and growth goals
 Lead creation of well-organized and informative capabilities presentations, customer presentations, business proposals, and webinars.
 Assist in collecting, compiling and presenting competitive intelligence internally
 Survey product markets to determine product revenue potential
 Responsible for preparation of annual and monthly product forecasts quantity of revenue and bookings projections
 Be a passionate ambassador of all customers, current and new, and enthusiastically help customers with their needs and concerns, quickly
 Provide timely, diligent and professional follow-up to customers and internal associates, regardless of travel
 Collaborate with internal operations program managers to ensure all customer concerns, needs and issues are resolved in a timely manner to facilitate ongoing business and focus on strengthening relationships with customers
 Work with Business Development to develop and nurture a growing pipeline of business opportunities which are centered around product acquisitions and adoptions
 Act as the lead manager for new acquisitions, to include managing product transitions, contractual novation's, and customer base
 Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning (our specific 'Adoption' process) through production/repair and end of life. Serves as the central resource with redesign, manufacturing, test, quality as the product(s) move to production.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, prefer a technical discipline with a balance of business acumen. With a minimum of 10 years direct industry experience. Other requirements include:
Desirable Qualifications
 Sales and or P&L experience in the avionics, aviation, or electronics industry
 Electronic and technical experience
 Demonstrates a general understanding of the avionics competitive landscape, products and systems
