Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Performs functions associated with all production operations, including working with engineers in set-up, 
calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, Components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop 
test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final 
systems. May complete rework and quality testing on Components, assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical 
reports, summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. 

 Ensure the quality of all work performed 
 Perform integration of systems, testing, and preparation for delivery to other engineering/development groups 
 Compile and record data and test results, ensuring accuracy 
 Make consistent use of lab notebooks and validation reports 
 Maintain prototype and pre-production test fixtures 
 Identify problems and recommend solutions 
 Perform rework of prototype and pre-production hardware 
 May maintain inventory of prototype and consignment hardware 
 Maintain proper labeling 
 Ensure all hardware is updated to the latest ECO level 
 Maintain a log of all lab test equipment and associated calibration records 
 Maintain documentation as required for incoming material, lab supplies, and condition of lab against ISO requirements, 
including ESD strap log, ESD bench logs, and Humidity maintenance log 
 Report and assist management with the resolution of any issues 
 Formalize processes into segmented and modular steps using current documentation 
 Perform integration of systems, testing and preparation for shipment including loading of host OS and all MCS hardware and 
software 
 Compile and record data and test results, ensuring accuracy 
 Make recommendations for new procedures 
 May act as Team Leader 
 Other duties as assigned

Minimum/Basic Job Qualifications (skills, work experience, education/credentials):
 High School Diploma or equivalent 
 4 years of related experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
 Knowledge of ISO requirements 
 Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently 
 Ability to complete tasks in a resourceful and effective manner 
 Ability to work independently 
 Ability to troubleshoot product circuits accurately to component level 
 Ability to work with little instruction on daily activities 
 Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
