Title: Director of Business Development

Job Purpose
Responsible and accountable for generating revenue to meet the company’s business plan. Market, promote and sell Client services by planning, organizing, directing and controlling the sales and marketing strategy. Manage and evaluate sales staff. Must be flexible to support a small company’s goals and may have other duties as assigned by CEO.
Duties and responsibilities
- Define and validate target markets
- Analyze and monitor sales performance against the business plan to achieve goals
- Develop the strategy to meet clients growth and revenue objectives.
- Train sales staff and work in closing new business opportunities
- Identify new business opportunities for client
- Develop relationship with management and key decision makers on key active customers.
- Research, analyze and monitor market and industry trends
- Communicate risk mitigation strategy to keep the corporate vertical segments balanced
- Direct and manage marketing efforts on behalf of client
- Keep informed of clients competition and any potential threats on the horizon

Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in a related field.
- Minimum of five years of management experience in the electronics Industry.
- Minimum of five years of sales which included defining a market, qualifying customers and closing on opportunities.
- Complete understanding of the EMS supply chain.
