Job Purpose:

The candidate will manage ferrites product lines targeted to the Defense Market to achieve company goals and targets. They will elaborate and execute strategy for the Defense Market product lines with product roadmaps and business plans to grow profitable sales and market share at a market leading rate. They will monitor and react to competitive landscape and customer requirements, collaborate and lead go to market strategies with Sales and Marketing Communication Teams, develop pricing strategies that maximize profit, revenue and market share, and deliver customer satisfaction while providing long-term value for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Product Line P&L and delivering contribution margin targets
• Utilize pricing power framework to establish reference prices and volume pricing
• Sales collateral including datasheets, brochures, and web content
• Release and disseminate collateral
• Responsible for developing strategy and marketing plans
• Work with Engineering to define product release requirements and roadmap
• Analyze sales for the product lines on a regular basis to assess their financial performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Work with Marketing Communications to define product market communication objectives, a go-to-market strategy and launch plan (product positioning, key benefits, target customers)
• Maintain a comprehensive product offering presentation (customer facing)
• Contribute to company synergies, manufacturing, and sales
• Provide sales team product training and presentations
• Interface with customers regularly, conduct customer visits as necessary
• Coordinates with project team to ensure milestones are achieved and risks are mitigated
• Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers
• Actively manage product lifecycle – concept, launch, production, and end of life
• Conduct market, customer, competitor, and user research; analyze potential partner relationships, if any, for the product line
• Participate in relevant Industry Standards organizations, contribute as needed to guide direction of standards development, educate and involve other functional team members as needed
• Look for industry trends and develop roadmaps to address new opportunities that evolve from standards development

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience of managing a product line life cycle
• Degree Level in technical discipline
• Experience in related market segments preferred
• Project management skills
• Experience and good knowledge of key customers in key market segments preferred
• Demonstrated skills working across functional structures and teaming with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Engineering to achieve business objectives
• Effective communicator and business leader. Makes commitment and delivers on promises
• Strategic thinking, Self-sufficient team player who enjoys a challenge
• Very organized and internally driven
• Be able to train internal and external stakeholders on our products and capabilities
• Experienced in customer interactions and solution presentations

• Ensures all PLM, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives.

• Peers in PLM, Engineering, Finance, HR, Quality and Operations. Together with relevant key customers/suppliers/distributors.
• The ability to engage, challenge and work effectively with stakeholders from all functions and divisions.
• A strong customer advocate; aggressively market the impact of customer satisfaction on company performance through a team of empowered and motivated team members.
• Be able to lead or contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Interface with customers conduct customer visits as necessary.
• Be able to train internal and external stakeholders on our products and capabilities.

• Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to speak the English language.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• There is a requirement that this role will require some lifting, where applicable the Company will provide suitable lifting equipment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally < 35%.
• Ensures department compliance with company environmental, health, safety and security policies.
• Understands export control, fair trade and anti-bribery/corruption law.
• Understands evolving business needs may modify responsibilities.
• U.S. Citizen preferred for work with Defense segment and Industry Standard participation
