Position Summary

(position purpose):
Quality Assurance often interacts directly with customers in support of Sales,
Marketing, Applications and Failure Analysis. The position of QA Customer Relations Engineer acts
a bridge between these departments and the customer to provide answers to surveys, evidence of
compliance, and, most importantly, questions related to product quality or reliability.



Job Function (day-to-day responsibilities):
1) Assist Sales Account Managers with responding to surveys
2) Keep up to date with Industry and Government compliance requirements and Standards
3) Participate in meetings on yields and dispositions of finished goods
4) Coordinate customer complaints with Failure Analysis Team
5) Coordinate customer special requirements for MIL Group Testing and FAIRs
6) Participate in PCN Group for customer notification of changes
7) Support ISO/ AS implementation and audit


4. Requirements (Competence, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) - Level of education, experience
and/or training, including specific physical requirements:
1) BS in technical area
2) Excellent communications and report writing skills
3) Familiarity with problem solving tools (SD, 5 Whys, etc)
