Job Description: VP of Sales & Marketing
Location: NY / Northeast / Orlando
Summary:
The VP of Sales/Marketing is responsible for driving bookings and revenue growth by leading sales
and marketing strategies that generate and develop sales and growth opportunities. Defines long term
organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business
opportunities, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Individual works with
the internal team, to develop strategic and tactical opportunities to increase sales channels and
thereby maximize bookings for the organization. This role also provides leadership, guidance and
expertise to the Company that is consistent and supportive of the Company’s annual business plan.
Develops high level client relationships (both existing and new) and will drive identification of key
stakeholders. Develops and executes sales plans and programs designed to increase sales, profits,
and market share and to minimize expenses. Establishes and implements a standardized process,
working with the executive team to ensure that bookings goals are met or exceeded.
Client is the global one-source provider of mission-critical microelectronic Components and services,
including Bare Die & Wafers, Advanced Interconnect Technology, Custom Packaging & Assembly,
Component Modification Services, Electrical & Environmental Testing and Hi-Rel Products to
manufacturers and users of semiconductor devices. In business for more than 40 years, Client has
extensive hi-reliability capabilities serve the Aerospace & Defense, Space, Medical and Industrial
markets, among others. Client possesses the sourcing, packaging, assembly, engineering, test and
logistics expertise needed to support an application throughout its entire program cycle
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, direction and support in the execution of driving sales and bookings for
die distribution, assembly, test, component modification and wafer processing across the
organization.
• Develop and implement an overall marketing and sales strategy for company products,
including pricing and customer service policies and advertising programs. This includes

development of marketing action plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules and
assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities.
• Work with sales team to drive design wins and revenue generation effort at key OEMs and
end users. Identify market trends and customer needs, develop and align mid and long-term
business plans
• Uses knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique
selling propositions and differentiators. Uses same knowledge to recommend and track
potential acquisitions and 'watch lists'. Understand competitive strengths, weaknesses, and
win-loss analysis
• Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
• Oversees and verifies reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated
and tracking reports, sales orders received, sales by product, backlog reports and customer
lists and determines appropriate reporting frequency, such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly
basis.
• Gather, analyze and prioritize new customer requirements and manage resources to drive
business
• To provide recommendations for improving or adding new product designs and assists with
product development, integrated packaging, and testing.
• Ownership of product strategy, product road maps, market requirements documents, and
lifecycle management. Support/drive successful new product launches and sales
interactions
• Technical program management and feedback loop/direction to engineering team in the
design of new products, from concept through production.
• Negotiation and management of Sale Representative contracts internationally.
• Identifies potential customers, and the decision makers within the customer's organization.
• Assumes responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of effective
Sales/BD and Marketing strategies and policies.
• Coordinates and attends industry functions, such as Trade Shows and conferences, and
provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Support Corporate KPI and Strategy Deployment goals. Develop and execute Strategic Goal
Deployment (SGD) Matrix with GMs and operations personnel level.
• Drive the appropriate behaviour and focus across the organization to meet revenue and
operating profit budgets while evaluating opportunities for stretch performance on a regular
basis.
• Direct all division sales and marketing activities and ensures timelines and quality standards
are achieved.
• Develop, coordinate and report metrics in support of strategic goals in Sales reviews and
other forums.
• Make effective decisions that drive Corporate results and performance
• Manage budgets & expenses for operating requirements, strategic Initiatives, training and
development

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution preferably in the technology field.
• 10+ years of global sales and marketing experience in high-tech manufacturing
• Experience in electronics distribution preferred, but on required.
• Strong product knowledge and technical competency required.
• 5+ years’ experience Microelectronics and services requirements desired
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
