Title Applications Engineer 

Location: NEw Jersey 

Client is a global provider of innovative RF and Microwave based test equipment for the Telecommunications industry and is publicly traded on the American Stock Exchange under .We have an available opportunity for an Applications Engineer. 

In this role you will provide technical and applications support to customers and manufacturer representatives. You will participate in trade shows and visit customer sites, as needed for product demonstrations and other customer related needs. In this role you will interact with Engineering, Production, Quality and Sales/Marketing staff to better communicate technical issues to customers and relay technical user information back to these departments. You will also interact with Engineering as needed on new product development initiatives and product re-designs sharing customer feedback.

We require a BSEE and at least 5 years experience with direct customer contact in either a sales technical support/service position. Knowledge and understanding of RF and Microwave theory and measurement techniques are also required. Experience with telecommunications test equipment is also necessary. We also require experience effectively communicating and writing technical material for application notes, articles and other literature needs also required. The ability to travel approximately 15% is also required.
