technology. Cooperated closely with Siemens Semiconductor (currently Infinion)
in order to develop and promote complete RF solutions. Designed the 1st
and 2nd generation SAW components for RF and IF applications. Major
customers were Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Siemens. By 1995 Siemens Matsushita
Components achieved #1 position in the mobile phone market
R&D
Engineer
Recruited
in 1986 from the Corporate Research Laboratory to start the research on low-loss
SAW filters for mobile communications. Developed in 1987 the first RF-filters
for the Siemens C-Net mobile phone and in 1988 the first SAW IF-filter for
Motorola’s initial GSM phone. 7 patents and over 20 scientific articles.
