Responsibilities:
1. Research and develop new products beyond current state-of-the-art.
2. Interface and provide recommendations to upper management on technical direction of company to improve products.
3. Ability to technically manage a significant design effort from concept through completion.
4. Innovative approach to problem solving.
5. Excellent mathematical skills.
6. Participation in technical proposal documentation and design reviews.
7. Ability to author technical information suitable for publication.
8. Ability to present technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
9. Provide technical direction and support to the engineering team, technicians, and draftsmen.
10. Perform all of the duties of R&D Engineer as listed and described.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in Electrical Engineering or related
discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
10+ years designing RF Microwave passive components. Active device experience a plus. Expertise in a particular area of microwave engineering or physics required. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. Ability to work effectively as a member on a dynamic research and development team in a learning environment. Willingness to both learn and lead.
