Title:                 Reliability Engineer

Location      New Jersey  

Responsibilities:

1.      Perform Reliability Analysis including failure rate predictions, criticality analysis (FMECA), worst case, stress & derating analysis

2.      Develop acceptance test procedures and qualification test procedures

3.      Develop tailored Reliability Programs to provide competitive approach

4.      Develop structural analysis conclusions based upon results of mechanical analysis.  Draw conclusions and write final report

5.      Develop thermal analysis conclusions based upon results of mechanical analysis.  Draw conclusions and write final report

6.      Develop risk assessment report

7.      Develop Compliance matrices for customer satisfaction

8.      Develop Components Specifications based on customer flow down requirements

9.      Act as a Product Support Engineer

10. Participate in internal quality audits as required

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree required in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years in RF Microwave components or Merrimac products. Excellent

                          communication skills, both verbally and written.  Ability to work effectively as a

                          member of an engineering team and communicate effectively with customers

                          on technical issues.
